Community involvement is a vital part of our vision here at the
Hacienda Business Park. In order to help advance this vision,
we've created an annual corporate giving initiative in
Hacienda Helping Hands campaign.
Each fall, funds raised through Hacienda Helping Hands will be
used to make grants to community projects that respond to one
of our funding priorities.
- Youth development and education
- Health care and healthy living
- Nature and the environment
We fund projects within these priorities that benefit the entire
community or a specific population in the community, such as
at-risk youth or persons with special needs.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for a grant must be a federal tax-exempt
organization, or a group sponsored by a tax-exempt
organization. City and County departments and special
districts may also apply for funding.
Local educational foundations may apply for funding to
support a district-wide or school-based project.
Local governing organizations for youth sports may apply for a
grant to benefit teams under their jurisdiction.
We also welcome grant applications from collaborative,
interfaith projects that provide non-religious human services in
our community.
Grants are not made to individuals, individual schools,
individual teams within youth sports organizations, or individual
faith communities.
Funding Amount
For the 2010 grant year, we will consider grant requests up to
$5000.
How to Apply
Grant applications for the 2010 grant year will be available in
September 2010.
